Mexican national taekwondo List for U.S. Open Felix Serrano

Olympic medalist Maria del Rosario Espinoza World runner-up taekwondo, Damian Villa, accompanied by 43 other selected, traveled this morning and headed to Austin, Texas, to attend the U.S. Open.

One of the objectives of selection on this competition is focused on collecting points, and which alone gives units open for the world ranking, plus will serve as preparation for the upcoming Pan American Games Guadalajara 2011.

Competitors attending the tournament from 17 to 21 February were those who were planted in each category in the evaluation of Aguascalientes and were eager to perform well as last year to become first team.

A Damian Villa would like to be named best male competitor as last year. "Yes, I would like, it is difficult to choose a competitor for two consecutive years, but I think if I have a good performance and get back to a gold medal, because it is a possibility."

In turn, Maria del Rosario Evans believes that the strongest competitors are in the range of U.S., Canada, and Brazil, but said the most important thing is to keep growing with rivals that touches face.
