Day 2011 Children Books

On 2 April is International Day Children Books , with the aim of commemorating another famous anniversary of the birth of Hans Christian Andersen 's father children's stories as surprising as The Ugly Duckling, The Steadfast Tin Soldier , The Emperor's New Clothes , The Little Mermaid, and many other stories that are accompanying the children to many children in different generations. As every year, Library celebrated this day with activities for children.
This time, on Monday, April 4, the library received a special visit, the children of Children 3, 4 and 5 years the Public School "María Domínguez" and 5 teachers, also coinciding with the celebration of the Cultural Week of the College. In total about 65 children, divided into two groups.

children in the library were able to meet the standards of good use to be met when they come to visit, how children's books are organized, what books can be found, how they can get a membership card, which can take home with membership cards, etc, and look them age-appropriate books.

addition, Pimero time could see what was Kamishibai (in Japanese, "paper theater". form of storytelling very popular in Japan), and enjoy two Stories: Bird Puhuy (from Mexico) and sun Cat (originally from Vietnam). The children heard stories very attentive and even excited (mouth open).
Another activity the children enjoyed in the Assembly Hall of the House of Culture, was a film about driver education and the explanations of the local police about the traffic lights, zebra crossings and traffic signals.
