Weird Pains In Stomach At Night

Award Day of the Triffids (John Wyndham)

The emergence of a new species plant, the Triffids, artificially created, seems to be meeting the nutritional needs of the planet. But the plant also has its dark side. They feed on carrion, throw a whip with deadly poison on the tip at a distance of three meters, and move!.

The Triffids are controlled plantations, until one day some strange lights appear in the sky, and all who see them are completely blind.

Only a small part of humanity is saved from blindness and has to struggle to rebuild their world now plagued by chaos, pests and the Triffids.

The book sucks you in simple pattern, suggesting only the tip of the iceberg of the reasons why humanity has lost control over the planet. His reading is entertaining and intellectually motivating digestible.
