Austin, Texas .- During the second day of competition at the Austin Convention Center, Texas, which hosts the U.S. Open, the Junior National Taekwondo Team returned to show good workmanship and excellent results for Mexico to win the Mexican youth 17 medals in total, 7 of which were gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze. This was confirmed by the Mexican Federation of Taekwondo.
A total of 17 competitors who represent Mexico in this international event classified as G2, in the ranking of the WTF, one of the countries participating in this event. The young competitors in our country were in good spirits, eager to excel and was a good experience for the commitments they have in the coming months.
Competitors gold medal are: Romualdo Salazar, Leslie Torres, Eduardo D. Espinoza, Melissa Cardenas, Jose Ramos Robles, Victoria Heredia, Antonio C. BazaldĂșa Barron, Silver: Alejandra M. Lozano, Oscar D. Gomez, Irving A. Delgado, Carlos U. Tinajero, Jesus Sifuentes, Brenda Romero, Hermosillo Valle; Bronze: Sandra Leyva, Melissa A. Gastelum, Maria I. Felix.
juveniles The fair was excellent, as teams like Puerto Rico, Australia, Brazil and Azerbaijan showed that working with great intensity in their youth teams because next year there will be competition in Egypt.
